We act under the corporate mission statement "GREEN STEPS - Our path to a greener future". Our ambitious mission is to make all essential areas of tapetenshop.de sustainable. All decisions, goals and measures we set for our shop are to serve this overarching goal. This is a path that cannot be implemented from one moment to the next, but one that we walk every day and every measure takes us one step closer to a greener future.
Ambitious CO₂ targets
We are aware that as an industrial company we have an impact on climate change and therefore take responsibility. Under the motto "Avoid, Reduce, Compensate," we are constantly working to reduce our ecological footprint. Based on extensive analyses, we have identified our CO₂ savings potential for 2030 and set our target at 30.6 % less CO₂ emissions than set in 2020.
100% FSC Certified
All our wallpapers bear the FSC® seal. This confirms that the wood required for production comes from sustainable and responsible forest management. We have been ensuring that our materials meet these standards since 2010.
EcoVadis Bronze Rating
To ensure that we receive independent assessments of our sustainability performance, we have an annual rating carried out by EcoVadis. In 2022, we scored better than 63 % of all companies evaluated and thus received the Bronze Sustainability Rating.
Sustainable wallpaper
More and more wallpapers in our range bear the "d'eco" seal. Articles bearing this seal are completely PVC- and solvent-free. These labeled wallpapers meet additional sustainability criteria that go beyond the A.S. Création quality basis.
